PactFi Receives SOC 2 Type II Security Attestation

October 31, 2022

PactFi is proud to announce that it has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type II compliance audit.

PactFi's Commitment

PactFi is designed to change the way that private markets function by making it easier for deal participants to collaborate across firms and by bringing previously static data associated with a transaction to life.

The key to achieving those objectives and to delivering a product that is consistent with our clients’ standards is security. The financial institutions that we serve handle highly sensitive information on a day-to-day basis, and it’s vital for the tools that they use to be able to secure that data reliably.

At PactFi, we are committed to protecting our customers’ data and privacy.

What it means to be Soc 2 Type II Compliant

SOC 2 compliance is a set of rigorous security and operational standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants(AICPA), designed to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Organizations must meet these standards to ensure the security and confidentiality of their data. To be SOC 2 Type II compliant, an organization must have in place policies and procedures for managing its data, as well as controls to safeguard against unauthorized access or disclosure.

A SOC 2 Type II audit report is an internal controls report that captures how a company safeguards customer data and that attests to whether continuous compliance with all security and operational standards is being maintained.
